Paul suggests 3 steps in transformation, to put off the old self, to be made new in the attitude of your mind, to put on the new self by asking Jesus to retake the throne of one’s heart and reign there. Transformation is key in partnerships. There is need to know we are equal with our partners, not presuming any superiority or conflict of function but respecting each other. We must avoid falsehood, have self-control over anger as we solve any conflict. We need to have no bitterness for oneness to thrive.

My learning here is to be true to myself and my neighbor. Responding to circumstances with clarity aiming and making each other better. It makes no significant impact to equip someone you are not able to boldly hold a "hot conversation" with

God created within our bodies an active defense against disease: the immune system. He designed special blood cells to recognize invaders that don’t belong in our body, such as bacteria and viruses. Other functions are designed to attack the invasion and remove it from the body
Paul is teaching us that since we have been transformed by Christ, we should not let the disease of sin back into our lives. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we need to recognize that even small things like “unwholesome talk” are not good for the Body.
To resolve conflicts with the churches in God’s way, we need to put off the behavior of the old man and put on the behavior of the new man, walking by the Holy spirit laying aside falsehood, speaking truth to each other.
