Parents and caregivers play an important role in the lives children. They have a responsibility to care for and protect the children God has entrusted to them. Unfortunately, not all parents and caregivers live up to this responsibility, and some, in fact, actively harm the children in their lives. How should the church respond in these situations? How did Jesus command His followers to treat children? Read this devotion to learn about one girl’s story of rescue. Then reflect on the questions at the end and ask God what He is calling you to do.
