Most people tend to ignore children in the community and they think that children have nothing important to offer to the community but today let me disprove the world in this thinking.
Children are the most needed people in this world and their contribution will always be significant where recognize or not .
there are nine ways of how you can influence children to cause the positive change and according to my research and analysis
1 be an example to them in all the 4 aspects of life
2 take time to listen from them regardless of what they are talking
3 know each child as an individual and identify their special abilities and develop them
4 Become a children protecting agent at all cost.
5 BE a pipe that transfer unconditional love to them
6 Allow them to express what they feel about some characters and behaviors
7 Teach them what is right and they will always teach it to their pears in your absence
8 Apologize to them in case you hurt them dont be angel to them in case you do something bad accept the defeat and apologize
9 keep the standard and they will keep the trend
more are still coming but when you do the above in this year you will be the best to them and positive change will be seen
As a leader, how can you influence children in the community to cause positive change?
Teach them what is right and they will always teach it to their pears in your absence
I have been a pastor for more than ten years, therefore I can tell you without hesitation that children are the most obedient Christian in the current church. I love working with children and youth. When God called me to pastoral ministry while I was in my final year in the university, studying bachelor degree in banking and finance, my field of concentration was children and youth. The following ways support me influence children to follow me and accomplish God's agenda (mission)
i. Loving them and showing them by deeds that you love them
ii. Becoming their role model, whatever I plan children to do, I do with them, I teach them how to do it, Children love learning by doing. So you have to be the role model
iii. Encouraging them when they feel they can't reach their full potential, for example when they fail in exams, I encourage them not to give up
iv. Protecting them, making sure that they are safe, dealing with anyone trying to breach rights of children and youth.
v. Being supportive, children and youth who are coming from vulnerable background I support them by paying their school tuition fee
vi. Positively giving them gifts to encourage them from their academic and skills journey, Eating together with children and youth, in Africa context, food is powerful to influence, when it is used positively, it can influence children and youth to love God. I used the term positively because gifts can also used to destroy their future when are negatively used. For instance, some adult may use money to deceive children and rape them, or use food to deceive youth and give them pregnant. At all cost the negative side must be fought at all cost legally.
vii. Teaching them to teach others, this strategy make them become your disciples (followers)

Our community has poor understanding about the power of children but children can understand many issue inside community.
By shaping their minds by mentoring them with positive values and life skills. Involving them in community projects and and assign responsibilities to them.
I agree with all the points. The best way is to work in harmony, emotionally intelligent children besides developing their IQ.
