The family can be counselled and if not responding church authority can come in together with the stakeholders and if it still continues we can involve bodies who are responsible for children's rights to assist.

Caregivers need to be sensitised on their role to protect children and prevent child abuse. Children need to know their rights and ways in which to protect themselves from abuse, avoiding danger spaces and people that may endanger them

On how to prevent child abuse, I believe that every person in the community should be educated and sensitized on the types and impact that child abuse has. Networking would also be a key aspect such that any case of abuse witnessed or suspected is escalated to relevant authorities for appropriate action.

In a larger sense, we can also have community education and discussions on child abuse. This will help curb the situation in all corners.

we can prevent child abuse by having trainings , making laws, because child abuse causes children to withdraw their participation in class and other activities and if taken place it must be reported
