what are the roles of the church in child protection?
Just like the mother in her early months of birth trying to make the little one know the objects and get friendly to the world, so as the church in letting the little one know Christ deeper in their early ages. The church therefore has the greatest mandate to bring up an upright society through molding children in the ways of God
To educate the child both spiritually and physically
To educate children o their Rights and responsibilities as they grew up
Children too have feelings, we need most of the time to understand them
Spiritual nourishment, protection,guidance and counselling, psychomotor activities and values
The church should also provide guidance and counseling for children
Listen to children and pray for them

the role of the church remains a harbinger for the holistic development of children, this is catered for in classroom-based activities such as learning the word of God, singing and games through extracurricular engagements. The church should not be secluded or sidelined in child protection because, it acts as a moral checker among society.
