Dividing walls of tribalism, segregation whether based on gender, economic or social status were broken in Christ making us one body. There is no distinction between compassion and the church partners as far as our redemption is concerned. It’s the same Lord and the same Spirit. Disunity and bad mouthing based on denominational differences still abound but chiefly due to misunderstandings and immaturity. In our cluster meetings we engage people from different denominations in prayer, teaching and sharing of experiences, this has continued to bring perspectives of accepting one another, learning from one another and working together for purposes of the Kingdom.

Unfortunately, "Jew and Gentile like" divisions continue to exist in the body of Christ, being brought about by differences in denominations, in doctrine, differences in tribes and ethnicities, and some times between the educated and not educated. The lesson for me is to continually ask God to help me recognize and remove my own walls brought about by my life experiences so that I can effectively reach out to those that are different from me, in my ministry and beyond.

The new humanity reflects a total transformation in us, with the past behind us and all its evils including selfishness, segregation, lust, fear, compromise and all works of the flesh. Then we embrace a new life in Christ where we are one with everyone who shares our fathers DNA. We celebrate his goodness together and our lives are focused on caring for one another and pleasing him. Reflecting and meditating on his power, his might and his wonderful works within us as he transforms us day by day and we look forward to being with him in heaven.
