The curriculum, “Child Protection Curriculum Advocacy Module for Parents, Caregivers, and the Community” is designed to approach the difficult subject of child abuse with care and tact, meanwhile equipping parents, caregivers and community members with the necessary resources to protect children. The guide is contextualized for Africa, and includes teaching and learning activities for 13 topics related to child protection. Topics vary but include child protection, child abuse, preventing abuse, safe environments, confidentiality, transparency, and continuing care. By utilizing the resources within this curriculum, parents, caregivers, and community members will be well trained to protect and service children.
