Here For a Reason (Assessment)
I have been asked many times by leadership at Compassion to take on tasks outside my usual role and I have done this willingly. I have served on committees to organize events, led Office Spiritual formation activities, conducted investigations and participated on special committees during partnership and program reviews. This is because I’m more passionate about serving the mission than maintaining my specific role within the organization. I pledge to choose to do the right thing—even if it takes more time, meets resistance or prioritizes a corporate need over my own plan. I will do that through candid and respectful speech when sharing ideas around critical issues regarding our mission.
