This course helped me to gain a better understanding of teamwork and how it preferred than one voice. As a PF, I understand from this course that I should work on how to identify and make use of the gifts/ skills of staff and other people to the support the church more effectively, as Paul did it in Bible.

I like the idea of “[making] the ‘One Voice’ even louder…” that Jessica highlights above. I can see how teaming up with the various Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) we have in the National Office make our “voice” louder. We shall be able, for example, to get expert advice directly to FCPs by SMEs themselves than having to wait to get that expert advice to FCPs by the PFs alone. We will need good relationships between SMEs and PFs, we will need a lot of collaboration to serve the FCP more effectively.

As a PF I have been encouraged that I can not do it alone. I need others as I work closely with the church partners. Like Paul I appreciate the idea of introducing the co workers to those that we partner with in achievement of outcomes. The way Phoebe was introduced is amazing.

It is very true that we used to act like superman, having all the answers and advising the Church as if we were mandated to do so. The Church is the bride of Christ! we are now in a season where a PF is not the only single voice, since Apostle Paul modeled it for us, we can't do it alone we need working collaboration which should be within the cluster also. we are gifted differently, you need a Silas, a Timothy, a Titus etc.
