The lesson “Helping Your Child with Self-Help Activities and Transitions Between Activities” helps the mother/caregiver understand why transitions and order are important to children. She is equipped to identify strategies to help her child make transitions, as well as to list activities and small chores around the home that are age-appropriate for an older toddler. She is encouraged to practice making tasks and transitions a positive and playful experience for the child.
