We can protect the child through the following classification;
1. Mild neglect:eg. (a parent failing to put the child in car safety seat). Due to this, Parents must provides safety seats for children when their with them in a car.

2. Moderate neglect:eg. (a child consistently in inappropriately dressed for the weather, such as being in shorts and sandals in the middle of winter). This means parents or care givers must dressed their children properly according to the whether they found them selves.

3. Severe neglect:eg.(a child with any medical condition, who has not received appropriate medications over a long periods of time and is frequently admitted to the hospital).Care givers must provides good or appropriate medications for their wards when they have any problem concerning their health.
