How We Work Together

The structure and operations of the National Office, in pursuit of our mission, has changed in significant ways. There is need for all of us National Office staff to learn the new processes, behaviors, attitudes or beliefs that we need to live out if we are to move smoothly towards the achievement of the church, and children & youth outcomes. This requires us to change our minds and make commitments in the way we interact with each other at the field office, in pursuit of our mission. As a team, there is need to know who is “Responsible for what?”, who is “accountable for what results” or “who can be consulted for support” and “who is informed” about a task we are working on. We need to acquire both knowledge and skills in effective collaboration. I shall continue to learn how we have changed, and what I need to be effective in serving the church.

With the new changes, we need to collaborate even more, and at individual level we need to reflect on which processes, attitudes and behaviors are key for the new dispensation.

Nicholas. This is well said. ANd speaking the same language is partly a result of understanding this. How much should I know of what Partnership dept does? And how much should I know of what Busness services doea? This increases the accuracy of communication with partners and also fostres team work
